Busy Afternoon Keeps BFC Firefighters Moving
Broomall Firefighters stayed busy today answering 10 calls for service in a four hour period. From motor vehicle accidents on I-476, fire & CO alarms, to brush and building fires, the afternoon kept crews moving around the township and surrounding communities.
Fueled by high winds, fire crews took on two brush fires in the 2900blk of Highland Ave in Marple Twp. before traveling to assist Haverford Twp. fire crews battling a large brush/building fire near Darby Creek Road.
Thank you to the crew from Engine 41 (NSFC) for the assistance as multiple calls came in simultaneously.
